FUNDRAISERS
We held a MILE OF MONEY fundraiser at First State Bank from Feb to
June. We collected $4170!!! We want to thank everyone who
participated in our best fundraiser ever!
First State Bank raised $92 from their
employee “jean day”. Thank you all
for your donations.
We participated in Community Day at Herberger's
again this past year. We generated over $450. Thank you to all who
purchased coupons from our organization!
We had a house at the Santa Village in Gering and we raised money from
donations for carved wood pieces that were made by Harry Hood.

Pet overpopulation Facts to know: 1. Seven
puppies are born for each child born in the U.S. 2. Less than 3 out of 10
dogs will have a home for life. Most dogs in the U.S. will have 3-5 homes during
their lives. 3. Less than 1 out of 5 dogs (under 20%) in the U.S. were
adopted from shelters. 70% of mixed breed dogs will become unwanted &
will be surplus pets by age two. 4. Nationally between 5 and 8 million
animals are put to death because they are unwanted. 5. Nationally around
two billion dollars are spent to collect, house, & kill unwanted
animals each year.

STATISTICS 2009
Spays & neuters: 391
In February, Tails of Love sponsored the annual Spay Day at Animal Health Center
and there were 126 spays & neuters done.
